Abstrak

Latar belakang: Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah merupakan bisnis yang perlu mendapatkan perhatian khusus dari pemerintah, karena memiliki potensi besar untuk mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh Pentahelix Collaborative terhadap kesejahteraan sosial ekonomi dengan Pemberdayaan UMKM sebagai variabel mediasi sebagai upaya penanggulangan daerah tertinggal Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan metode pengumpulan data kuesioner. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dengan menggunakan Smart-PLS. Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya perbedaan besar antara pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung ini menunjukkan adanya proses mediasi yang kuat. Adanya variabel Z sebagai mediator memperkuat hubungan antara peran Pentahelix terhadap Kesejahteraan Sosial Ekonomi, sehingga variabel mediasi memainkan peran penting dalam memastikan efektivitas Kolaborasi Pentahelix. Dengan kata lain, pengaruh tidak langsung melalui Pemberdayaan UMKM  memungkinkan Kolaborasi Pentahelix memberikan dampak yang lebih besar terhadap Kesejahteraan Sosial Ekonomi dibandingkan dengan pengaruh langsungnya. Kesimpulan: Temuan penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemberdayaan sangat penting dalam mendorong UMKM untuk terus berkembang, sehingga pemberdayaan diperlukan dalam kolaborasi pentahelix yang tujuannya untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat.
