Optimalisasi Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDES) Sebagai Upaya Pengembangan Desa Agrowisata di Kabupaten Sidoarjo

Abstract

This community service activity with the theme of optimizing Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) as an effort to develop an agro-tourism village in Sidoarjo Regency is motivated by the potential for abundant village starfruit plantations but until now it has not been optimally managed by local governments both in the field of harvest management, differentiation of processed food. , packing, marketing, partnership with sourcing system. The current condition is further exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic which has an impact on the decline in the number of tourists. It is necessary to take holistic and strategic steps in overcoming these problems, especially in strengthening human resources through community empowerment activities. The methods used are lectures, focus group discussions (FGD) and skills training with the target group of activities being Village Owned Enterprises (BUMDES). Through this method, it is expected to be able to develop the potential of the region in developing the village into an Agrotourism Village. The result of this community service activity is an increase in community knowledge about the potential of the village.
